We have had some people asking if they could see the animals while we are all living through this quarantine. Enjoy the videos below. I will do my best to post videos that you request - just email your clinician.
Horses typically roll after they have a bath. Here some reasons why horses roll:
Additionally, rolling in the mud on a hot day cools them off.
Lots of treats today!
I gave the horses some treats today since they are missing the apples & carrots all of you give to them.
Most of you probably never met Percy. He lives at 615 and has come a long way from his rescue days - he used to hide from everyone, now he comes down to the waiting room when he hears people arrive.
Queenie greeted me this morning, as usual, looking for her treat of bird seed.
The horses and goats are having lunch. You will see Penny, Twizzle, JJ, Bramble, Peanut, Bounce, Wheels, Ned & Chapman. Do you remember who is who?
See if you can hear my mistake.
Pingu misses his visitors and treats. I see him every day and he is usually in his house when I feed everyone in the morning.
His video came out weird - I will be more careful next time ;)
Maple, Chloe & Sable are up to their usual antics - running around and sleeping under the chairs. Here they are eating their dinner.
Bunbun, T & Flopsy - Bunbun is the biggest but he is definitely not the one in charge - T seems to run the herd. A group of domestic bunnies living together is called a "herd," if they were in the wild it would be called a colony or a nest.
